In this release, Krisp delivers a smoother, more intuitive calling experience by removing effort from everyday workflows. With Live Captions, smarter Accent Conversion, an improved Krisp Widget, automatic call wrap-ups, and clearer device handling, agents stay focused while Admins gain cleaner, more predictable behavior across the app.

Feature updates and key enhancements

  • Accent Conversion that stays ON only when needed: Accent Conversion auto-switch detects whether a call is in English and automatically adjusts the Accent Conversion state, keeping it ON for English calls and turning it OFF when non-English speech is detected. This prevents potential distortion and ensures that audio remains natural in multilingual scenarios. As an Admin, you can configure this behavior from the Accent Conversion settings in the admin portal.

  • Live Captions for clarity in every customer conversation: Live Captions bring real-time, highly accurate captions of the customer’s speech directly into the Krisp Widget, helping agents follow conversations even in noisy conditions, with heavy accents, or when audio quality is poor. Live Captions are designed to increase comprehension, reduce repeated questions, lower cognitive load, and keep calls moving smoothly.

  • A cleaner, more concise Krisp Widget: The Krisp Widget now features a horizontal layout, focusing on the most essential functionality while remaining non-intrusive to agents’ existing workflows. It now displays all your important notifications, transcriptions for Live Captions, and Voice Translation, which can be further expanded for a comprehensive viewing experience.

  • Support for default communication devices: Krisp can now be set as Windows’ default communication microphone and speaker, allowing calling apps to pick the Krisp microphone automatically. This ensures calls start with the correct audio input, without extra setup from users.

  • Smarter call end detection: Krisp now automatically detects when the call ends based on the call context and turns off Voice Translation to avoid unnecessary overuse of the product. It also automatically provides an After-call Summary with the call scores and performance feedback.

  • Improve Voice Translation quality by providing feedback: Agents can now rate each translated speech bubble and quickly flag issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of Voice Translation quality.

  • Avoid guessing which key.config belongs to which team in the Organization: As an Admin, you can now rename and store your team keys with any name, making Krisp key management simpler and more organized. Krisp deployments now support any filename with the .config extension, giving you more flexibility when managing keys across teams.

Bug fixes

  • Accent Conversion settings load correctly: We fixed an issue that caused the Accent Conversion settings panel to display incorrectly. You can now navigate to this menu smoothly, and the settings load as expected every time.
